

PET POLICY

At South 40 Campground, we understand that your pets are part of the family—and we love welcoming well-behaved dogs to enjoy the outdoors with you. To ensure a safe, relaxing environment for all guests, we ask that you follow the guidelines below.
General Pet Rules & Restriction Dogs

All dogs must be kept on a physical leash (no longer than 6 feet) at all times when outside your site.

Pets may not roam freely or be left unattended outside, in accordance with local leash laws requiring animals to remain under control at all times.

Owners must immediately clean up after their pets on all campground property.

Excessive barking, aggressive behavior, or disturbances to other guests will not be tolerated.

While we love all animals, for the safety of our guests we do not allow dogs with known aggressive tendencies or any mix of breeds commonly associated with aggressive behavior, including but not limited to:

Pit Bull–type breeds

Doberman Pinschers
-
Rottweilers
-
Chow Chows
-
German Shepherds
This policy applies regardless of training or temperament and includes mixed breeds.
